Privacy policy

This policy describes information handled by Georgia Gas Resources when you use this website, request an email reminder, contact us or use the plan assistant.
Information you provide
- Email reminders: when you request a reminder or plan alert, we collect your email address and the details submitted with that request, such as a reminder date, ZIP code or plan preferences. We use these details to provide the requested email service.
- Messages: if you email us, we receive your email address and the information in your message so we can respond and investigate your request.
- Plan assistant: your question and any current-plan details you provide are processed by OpenAI to interpret the request and help compare published offers. Do not enter names, street addresses, account numbers, payment details or other sensitive information.
The assistant attempts to remove common personal identifiers before processing. This is not a guarantee that every identifier will be removed. Saving a question for website improvement is optional and is controlled by the checkbox in the assistant. When selected, the website stores the processed question and related result information; leaving it unchecked does not prevent OpenAI from processing the request to provide an answer. Website analytics and browser storage
Website requests can include an IP address, browser and device information, page URLs and referral information. Hosting and service providers process technical information to deliver the site and support its operation and security.
We use Google Analytics to understand visits and interactions, such as pages viewed, comparison filters and clicks on marketer links. When enabled, Contentsquare helps us understand how visitors use page layouts through interaction data, such as clicks and scrolling. These services may use cookies or similar technologies. You can exclude this browser from Google Analytics. This setting applies to future Google Analytics activity in that browser; it does not control advertising cookies, Contentsquare or other service providers. Browser settings also let you manage cookies and site storage. Clearing storage or changing browsers can reset saved choices.
Advertising cookies and your choices
The site includes Google AdSense integration. When Google advertising is served, Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies based on prior visits to this site or other websites. Google advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads using that browsing activity.
You can manage personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. For choices offered by participating third-party advertising vendors, visit the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page. Service providers and external websites
Information is processed by providers that support hosting, email delivery, analytics, advertising and AI features as described above. When you follow a marketer or other external link, that website handles information under its own privacy policy. GGR does not enroll you in a gas contract through the plan assistant.
Privacy questions and requests
To ask about information you submitted, request access, correction or deletion, or cancel an email reminder, email georgiagasresources@gmail.com. Include only enough information to locate the request, such as the email address used for a reminder. We may need to verify the request. Please do not send identity documents, account passwords or payment details.
